Fabulous heart warming morning read on New Year’s Day- looking forward to your shares in 2025. Comfort is, in my opinion, the best book of 2024. I cooked braised lamb and butter beans with galicky aligot potatoes with thyme for the last day of 2024. A perfect send off to the year!

Happy new year!!

I have to point something out because I cannot believe this is correct!!!: Your Shakshuka recipe, both in comfort and in this post, calls for SIX TABLESPOONS (or the equivalent conversion) of tamarind concentrate!! I made the recipe last night and cut it down by half. It was still very sour. If this isn’t a mistake pls tell me what I am not factoring correctly.
