Dear Sweet Talented Yotam: This is exciting news for the Ottolenghi team. Congratulations! I have EIGHT of your cookbooks stacked on my kitchen bookshelf. I will watch for this new one….hopefully my groaning shelves can handle the weight of one more cookbook!!!

Of course, the squash is looks great during these frigid winter days but it's more of a one-off for me. The bean salad is more useful as a side, main, and potluck or picnic offering. I can imagine having the bean salad on steady rotation all summer long--more in keeping with your recipes in Simple.

Appreciate the thinking. Definitely take into consideration. Thank you!

Hard to pick just one; they both look delicious!

Heard about this new book yesterday. Decided to changed our European vacation itinerary in October so we could spend a few days in London before we come home. I can pick up the English edition AND have a great meal at NOPI. Win win!

Dear Yotam, excited about your new book. I watched your cooking series start to finish while on a plane last year, and two things struck me: 1) your kind manner and warmth and 2) the required time and complexity of many of the recipes. So I am looking forward to Simple Too! Now as to the voting, that's easy. I don't like green beans, and I have a friend who grows more Butternuts than he and his friends can eat so... BNS (butternut squash) for me! Amy

To be perfectly honest, the series was out even before SIMPLE ;)

Sorry if this is a repeat…comment disappeared?

So as I was saying choosing between 2 OL recipes is a little cruel, but if I must: I’ll likely make the green recipe more often, but the squash recipe is bewitching. It looks so yummy.. I’ll vote for the squash!

Additional cupboard extras

For a wicked mean no mater what is alway appreciated.

Tricky time of year to put seasonally oppositional recipes up against one another.

Obv. One pot east go, butternut is a winter/autumn fave.
